Upgrading from earlier versions of Deployment Wizard

If you have a previous version of Deployment Wizard, such as from HOD V11.0, there is no direct upgrade path from Deployment Wizard V11.0 to Deployment Wizard V12.0 and later versions. Perform the following tasks for upgrading:
  1. Take a backup of any customized files from the Deployment Wizard directory. You can edit any existing files with the Version 12 Deployment Wizard.
  2. The new Deployment Wizard requires that an empty path be available. Hence, rename or delete the existing folder of the Deployment Wizard installation.
  3. Install Deployment Wizard using the IBM Installation Manager.
  4. Redeploy your customized files on the Deployment Wizard installation folder.
