&SYSOPT_CODEPAGE System Variable Symbol

Use &SYSOPT_CODEPAGE to determine the CCSID specified for the CODEPAGE option, as a 5-digit decimal number, for example, 01148. If LOCAL was specified, the same value is returned as for &SYSOPT_EBCDIC.

Note:
  1. The value of the type attribute of &SYSOPT_CODEPAGE (T'&SYSOPT_CODEPAGE) is always N.
  2. The value of the count attribute (K'&SYSOPT_CODEPAGE) is always 5.
