&SYSOPT_CE System Variable Symbol

Use &SYSOPT_CE to determine the CCSID specified for the CE option, as a 5-digit decimal number, for example, 00037. If LOCAL was specified, the same value is returned as for &SYSOPT_EBCDIC.

Note:
  1. The value of the type attribute of &SYSOPT_CE (T'&SYSOPT_CE) is always N.
  2. The value of the count attribute (K'&SYSOPT_CE) is always 5.
