Stopping the Primary Address Space

Do not stop the Primary Address Space unless you are directed to do so by IBM Software Support or by a ++HOLD(ACTION) in a PTF.

To ensure product stability, the Primary Address Space should only be stopped by using the sample job that is provided in SADHSAMP, member ADHMSTR. This job verifies that no IBM Guardium S-TAP for Db2, InfoSphere® Optim™ Query Workload Replay for Db2, or IBM Db2 Query Monitor for z/OS® subsystems are using the Primary Address Space before it is stopped.
