Working with existing datasources

After you create a datasource definition, you can clone the datasource, modify the datasource, or delete the datasource.

Procedure

Open the Datasource Builder by navigating to Setup > Datasource Definitions.
The Application Selection menu lists all applications with which you can use a datasource definition. Choose the application for which the datasource you want to modify was created, and click Next, bringing you to the Datasource Finder.

Cloning a datasource

Procedure

Select the datasource that you want to clone from the Datasource Finder, and click Clone.
The information that you entered when the datasource definition was created appears in the Datasource Definition dialog, with "copy Of" appearing before the original name of the datasource. Change whatever fields you like.
Click Apply to save the cloned datasource.

Modifying a datasource

Procedure

Select the datasource that you want to modify from the Datasource Finder, and click Modify.
The information that you entered when the datasource definition was created appears in the Datasource Definition dialog. Change whatever fields you like.
Click Apply to save the changes that you made to the datasource.

Removing a datasource

Procedure

Select the datasource that you want to modify from the Datasource Finder, and click Delete.
