AUII050I S-TAP® FOR IMS AUDIT STATISTICS

Explanation

This message provides statistics about the number of DLI events that have been processed. This message is issued when:
  • The number of DLI calls specified in the message frequency section of the Guardium client's IMS Data Set definition screen has been reached.
  • The time specified in the AUII050I message frequency section of the Guardium client's IMS Data Set definition screen has elapsed.
  • The collection profile for the IMS is inactive.
  • The DLI/DBB batch job or IMS Online Control region terminates.
The description of values are as follows:
IMS CMDS RECEIVED
This value indicates the number of IMS commands that were encountered and have the potential to be audited. This number can be more or less than the number of actual IMS commands performed because a single IMS command can include multiple artifacts (databases, programs), which are handled as individual commands.
IMS CMDS AUDITED
This value indicates the number of IMS commands that resulted in an IMS event being written to the z/OS System Logger log stream for transmittal to the Guardium Appliance.
DLI CALLS RECEIVED
This value indicates the number of IMS DLI calls that have the potential of being audited. This number can be more or less than the number of actual DLI calls performed, because:
  • DLI PATH calls which affect multiple segments within a hierarchical path are treated and counted as individual DLI calls.
  • DLI calls types, which are not included in any RULE of the active collection profile, are not counted because they are immediately rejected.
DLI CALLS AUDITED
This value indicates the number of IMS DLI calls that resulted in a DLI event being written to the z/OS® System Logger log stream for transmittal to the Guardium® Appliance.
IXGWRITE ERRORS
This value indicates the number of z/OS System Logger IXGWRITE calls that failed. One or more AUIJ304E messages precede the AUII050I message if the number of IXGWRITE errors is greater than zero. A non-zero value for the IXGWRITE ERRORS and a zero value for the DLI CALLS LOST DUE TO IXGWRITE ERRORS section of this message indicates that the IXGWRITE errors were subsequently retried and the IXGWRITE calls were then completed successfully.
DLI CALLS LOST DUE TO IXGWRITE ERRORS
A non-zero value in this section indicates that DLI calls were audited, and one following occurred:
  • DLI calls could not be placed into a log-stream data buffer. This is indicated by message AUIJ307A.
  • Audited events already in the data buffer could not be written to the z/OS System Logger log stream using the IXGWRITE call. In addition, the collection profile for the IMS has been deactivated or the DLI/DBB batch job or IMS Online Control region has been terminated. This is indicated by message AUIJ304E.
