Managing vulnerability status

With IBM Guardium DSPM, you can monitor and manage the status of the vulnerabilities in the discovered data stores.

1. Click an asset's row in the Vulnerabilities page.
   The row expands to list the vulnerabilities in the asset.
2. Click the Status drop-down, and select either of the following status:
   • Select Review, if you are in the process of reviewing the vulnerability to understand its impact and resolution.
   • Select Fixed, if you have resolved the vulnerability.
   • Select Ignore, if you choose not to resolve the vulnerability because it does not impact your data security.
   Note:

   • You can find the Status drop-down in the expanded row of a vulnerability and in the right panel when you click the expanded row of the vulnerability.
   • If you mark a vulnerability that is not resolved as Fixed, Guardium DSPM can detect the vulnerability automatically and re-open it.
3. Enter a comment in the comment box, and then do either of the following:
   • Click Save to update the status of the vulnerability as selected by you.
   • Click Close if you do not want to update the status of the vulnerability.
