You can connect one or more IBM watsonx.ai on IBM Cloud® instances with IBM
Guardium AI Security by using a secret key that provides access
to your cloud environment. IBM watsonx.ai
discovers AI deployments across the instances.
Before you begin
AI Security This
functionality is available only with the Guardium AI
Security
application.
Verify that you have an watsonx.ai
instances on IBM Cloud user with the
permission to create the relevant service account.
About this task
Use the following steps to connect Guardium AI
Security with one or more watsonx.ai instances on IBM Cloud:
Procedure
- Use one of the following methods:
- Click Add connections on the welcome page of Guardium AI
Security.
- Click the Connections icon from the Guardium AI
Security navigation menu.
- In the Add connections wizard, select the IBM Cloud
watsonx.ai tile, and then click Next.
- In the Add a cloud account step, follow the onscreen instructions
to add the account details and generate a secret key, and then click
Next.
Note: Until the secret key is entered in the Account secret key box, the
Next button is not enabled.
- Based on the result of the secret key validation, you can do either of the validation
tasks:
- If the secret key is valid, click Next.
- If the secret key is not valid, verify that you entered valid account details and secret
key. If not, repeat step 3.
- In the Set permissions step, follow the onscreen instructions to
set access control for service IDs, and then click Done.
Results
When you connect Guardium AI
Security with watsonx.ai instances on IBM Cloud, a service account with read-only
permissions. This service account is connected to the different watsonx.ai projects. The service account scans and
monitors the metadata of the AI deployments that Guardium AI
Security discovers.
