You can create a set of auto-tagging rules and actions to automatically assign data
classification tags and controls to the assets based on the defined conditions. By default, IBM
Guardium® Insights SaaS provides an auto-tagging rule.
About this task
Each tagging rule defines a conditional action. The auto-tagging rule runs when the following
events occur.
- New assets are added to the Guardium
Insights SaaS asset
inventory.
- A new tagging rule set is created.
- A tag is assigned to the assets.
- A monitoring control is enforced on the assets.
Procedure
- Click Asset inventory in the main menu () at the upper left of the
page.
- On the Asset inventory page, click Auto-tagging
rules.
- On the Manage auto-tagging rules page, a sample tagging rule is
available by default. To create another rule, click Add a tagging
rule.
- Set the rule conditions and the actions that are to be run when the conditions are
met.
