Working with tasks

Tasks are work items that have been assigned to people or roles.

Before you begin

Version 3.4.x and later This content only applies to Guardium® Insights Version 3.4.x and later.

Click Go to tasks (or you can click Tasks in the main menu. Open this menu by clicking the main menu icon (main menu)) You can open a task by clicking its link in the Tasks page. When you open a task, you can see all of its settings.

Procedure

  • Click All tasks to see tasks that are owned by anyone - and click My tasks to see those that pertain only to you.
  • You can choose to filter tasks by Open, In progress, Pending, and Complete.
  • If the task includes the review of a received file, click Download file to receive the file.
  • To change the status of the task, choose Respond and then respond to the task and click Complete. You can also set its State to Open, In progress, or Pending.
  • Click the task Details tab to see the task results.
  • The Links tab provides links to investigations that you added to the workflow.
  • To add a comment to the task, click the Comments tab and then click Add comment.
  • Click the History tab to see a history of the actions related to the task.
