Deleting a variant

You can delete a variant if you do not need it or if you want to replace it with a new variant with a modified set of rules.

Before you begin

Version 3.4.x and later This content only applies to Guardium® Insights Version 3.4.x and later.

You can only delete a variant if both the following conditions are satisfied:

  • If the variant is not used in a report data
  • If the variant is not used to enable a join between a custom data and a report data.

Procedure

  1. In the Variant administration page, select the variant that you want to remove.
  2. Click the hamburger menu of the selected variant, and then click Remove.
    The Remove variant dialog box opens.
  3. Click Delete.

Results

You have successfully deleted the variant.
