Attaching custom labels

Attach custom labels to time series and alerts.

Procedure

Attach custom labels to all the time series and alerts for core OpenShift® Container Platform projects by editing the cluster-monitoring-config configmap, and for user-defined projects by editing the user-workload-monitoring-config configmap.

externalLabels:
  <key>: <value>

Important:

Substitute <key>: <value> with a unique name for the new label and its corresponding value.

If you are using multiple GI clusters, differentiate between your Guardium® Insights environments by adding unique keys and values.
