Connecting to Guardium Data Protection systems
Stream data from Guardium Data Protection aggregators and collectors by connecting a Guardium Data Protection central manager to Guardium Insights.
Before you begin
Verify that Guardium Insights supports the version of Guardium Data Protection you are connecting. For more information, see the planning section.
To open the IBM Security Guardium Data Protection (GDP) integration page,
navigate to the main menu. Open this menu by clicking the main menu icon (
)) Then select
Integrations and click the IBM Security Guardium Data Protection
(GDP) card.
About this task
Prior to the release of Guardium Insights Version 3.3, an API communication protocol was used for connecting to Guardium Data Protection. As of Version 3.3, a new direct-to-Guardium Insights communication protocol was introduced to simplify network requirements.
