To install Guardium® Insights, you must first
create a Red Hat®
OpenShift® cluster on IBM Cloud with classic infrastructure.
About this task
The images that are included in the following procedure are examples. When you follow the
procedure, you must select the options that are applicable to your deployment.
Procedure
- From the IBM Cloud dashboard, click
OpenShift.
- Access and enter the following information:
- Orchestration service: Select the Red Hat
OpenShift version, such as Red Hat
OpenShift
4.7.30
.
- OCP entitlement: Select Apply my Cloud Pak OCP
entitlement to this worker pool.
- Infrastructure: Select
Classic.
- Location: Select the worker zone, such
as Dallas 12.
- In the Worker pool section, select Change
flavor:
- Enter a unique Worker pool name. If you do not enter a name,
the worker pool is named as default.
- Set the Master service endpoint to both private and public
endpoints.
- Access and enter a cluster name, such as
Mycluster-dal12.
- Click the create option to provision the cluster.
- After the cluster is created, review the details by clicking
State. You can also check the Ingress subdomain and
copy the Master URL.
- Click OpenShift web console to open the OCP console
- Click your IAM profile. The IAM profile appears in the following format:
IAM#user.name@email.com.
- Select Copy Login Command to display the
oc
login command for authenticating with the command-line interface. The following
example shows a sample command:
oc login

--server=https://my_containers.cloud.ibm.com:31944
