Working with audits

When you create an audit in Guardium® Insights, you are setting up a process for scheduling jobs and then tracking the distribution, review, and completion of those jobs. You can schedule reports to run and set up audits for those reports - or you can schedule import jobs (these require an integration for importing and exporting data, which you can set up when you create the audit if you don't already have one).

About this task

The Audit results page contains all of the audits that have run. You can open each audit to see its details and status - and you can generate a log for all of your audits.

Procedure

  • To generate a report that lists all audit activity, click Generate audit log.
  • Actions in the Audit results page allow you to easily see and find audits and tasks that you are interested in:
    • Click All audits to see audits and tasks that are owned by anyone - and click My audits to see those that pertain only to you.
    • You can filter the list of audits by using the Filter by audit selection.
    • Use the Hide completed/Show completed slider to hide completed audits or show all audits.
  • Viewing an audit: To open an audit, click it. When you open an audit, you can see all of its settings and tasks:

  • Working with tasks: You can open a task by clicking its link in an audit card in the Audit results page - or, if you open an audit, you can open its tasks from the Tasks list. When you open a task, you can see all of its settings:
    • If the task includes the review of a received file, click Download file to receive the file.
    • To change the status of the task, choose a status in the Task status menu.
