Attaching custom labels

Attach custom labels to time series and alerts.

Procedure

Attach custom labels to all the time series and alerts for core OpenShift Container Platform projects by editing the configmap cluster-monitoring-config and for user-defined projects by editing the configmap user-workload-monitoring-config.

externalLabels:
  <key>: <value>

Note:

Substitute <key>: <value> with a unique name for the new label and its corresponding value.

If you are using multiple GI clusters, differentiate between your Guardium Insights environments by adding unique keys and values.
