Restarting the IBM Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager agent service

Restart of the IBM Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager agent service causes the server to read its configuration and accept the configuration changes, if any.

Procedure

  1. Open a command prompt.
  2. Go to the SKLM_INSTALL_HOME\agent directory.
    Windows
    C:\Program Files\IBM\GKLMV50\agent
    Linux®
    /opt/IBM/GKLMV50/agent
  3. Stop the agent service by running the following command.
    Windows
    stopAgent.bat WAS_HOME
    stopAgent.bat "C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\Liberty"
    Linux
    ./stopAgent.sh <WAS_HOME>
    ./stopAgent.sh /opt/IBM/WebSphere/Liberty
  4. Start the agent service by running the following command.
    Windows
    startAgent.bat WAS_HOME
    startAgent.bat "C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\Liberty"
    Linux
    ./startAgent.sh WAS_HOME
    ./startAgent.sh /opt/IBM/WebSphere/Liberty
