Backup operation fails
The backup operation fails on the IBM® Security Guardium® Key Lifecycle Manager, Version 4.2.0.x system after you restore the backup file of IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager, Version 4.1.1.x multi-master cluster.
To resolve this problem, complete the following steps:
- Stop the IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager agent service. For more information, see Stop Agent.
- Stop WebSphere Liberty. For more information, see Starting, stopping, restarting WebSphere Liberty.
- Remove the data.synchronizing.backup.password.obf property from the SKLMConfig.properties file by using Delete Config Property REST Service.
- Start WebSphere Liberty. For more information, see Starting, stopping, restarting WebSphere Liberty.
- Run the backup operation again.
