The Replication section on the Welcome page of the IBM® Security Guardium® Key Lifecycle Manager graphical user interface on the master server
provides a quick status update on the full replication process. In case of a failure, you can review
the error message and take a corrective action.
Procedure
- Log in to the graphical user interface on the master server.
- Review the details that are provided in the Replication section on
the Welcome page.

Displays Up or Down to indicate whether
the configured replication process is running or not. |

Displays the role of the server: Master or Clone |
Last run |
Displays the date and time of the last run of the replication process. |
Next scheduled run |
Displays the date and time of the next planned replication run. |
Replication status table |
Displays the following details per clone server:
- Host name or IP address of the clone server.
- Time of the last successful replication on the clone.
- Status of the last run of the replication process.
- Error details of the replication process that was last run. If the last run of the replication
process was successful, then this field is blank.
The probable error messages are as follows:
- Restore to the clone server failed. Check logs for more information.
- Backup transfer to clone failed. Check debug log for more information.
- Connection to the clone server failed. Check network connectivity.
- Backup dates on the master and clone servers are out of sync.
- Failed to create backup on the master server during the replication process. Check logs for more
information.
