Managing preinstalled client root certificates

You can manage the preinstalled certificates in IBM® Security Guardium® Key Lifecycle Manager.

About this task

The preinstalled certificates are the device root certificates that are already imported in IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager. These certificates are used for secure communication between IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager and the client devices. A client device certificate is automatically trusted if it is signed by any of the preinstalled root device certificates.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the graphical user interface.
  2. Go to Advanced Configuration > Client Device Certificates.
    The Client Device Certificates page is displayed.
  3. To view the preinstalled certificates, click Show preinstalled certificates.
    All the preinstalled root device certificates along with client device certificates are listed in the table. The Show preinstalled certificates button toggles to Hide preinstalled certificates.
  4. Click Hide preinstalled certificates to hide the preinstalled certificates.
  5. You can also do the following operations on the listed certificates:
