Configuring EKMF Web with mTLS authentication

You can configure EKMF Web with IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager with Mutual Transport Layer Security (mTLS) authentication.

Procedure

  1. Set up the key template in EKMF Web.
    For instructions, see Setting up a key template in IBM Enterprise Key Management Foundation (EKMF) Web.
  2. Define the EKMF Web configuration properties in IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager.

  3. Set up mTLS authentication between EKMF Web and IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager.

  4. Set up master key in EKMF Web.

  5. Test the connection.
