Scenario: To set up TLS handshake between IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager server and client device

The TLS handshake enables IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager server and client devices to establish the connection for secure communication. IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager provides the Server Configuration Wizard to configure server and the client device for TLS handshake.

You must complete the following steps in the wizard for TLS handshake:
  1. Creating a self-signed TLS/KMIP server certificate.
  2. Exporting the TLS/KMIP server certificate that is created in Step 1 to a certificate file in an encoded format for use by the client device. You can also export an existing certificate.
  3. Importing client communication certificate to the IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager server.
