Upgrading to Guardium Data Security Center version 3.7.0

Take advantage of all the new features in the latest version by upgrading Guardium Data Security Center.

Before you begin

• Prepare to upgrade Guardium Data Security Center. For more information, see Preparing to patch or upgrade Guardium Data Security Center.
• Make sure that your environment meets the System requirements and prerequisites and Hardware cluster requirements.
• Back up your current version of Guardium Data Security Center. For more information, see Backing up Guardium Data Security Center with an embedded Db2u.
• Make sure that your SSH session stays active during the upgrade.
• Obtain your entitlement key. For more information, see Obtain your entitlement key.
• Export the following environment variables:
  • export NAMESPACE=Your Guardium Data Security Center namespace
  • export CP_REPO_USER=cp
  • export CP_REPO_PASS=password for cp user

  • export LOCAL_CASE_DIR=the directory where the case file is downloaded
  • LOCAL_INSTALL_DIR=$HOME/guardium-data-security-center
  • mkdir $LOCAL_INSTALL_DIR
