Protocol 7 Driver parameters

These parameters affect the behavior of several drivers with which the S-TAP® interacts.

Attention: These are advanced parameters and should be modified only by IBM Technical Support.
Attention: If a parameter is available through both the Guardium installation manager (GIM) and the command line interface (CLI), then the GIM parameter, including any defaults, always overwrites any value that is available from WINSTAP_CMD_LINE.

WINSTAP_TCP_DRIVER_INSTALLED TCP_DRIVER_INSTALLED 1 S-TAP uses a TCP driver. Valid values:
  • 0: no

  LHMON_DRIVER_INSTALLED 0 Deprecated in v10.0.
  LHMON_DRIVER_LEVEL 0 Deprecated in v10.0.
  LHMON_FOR_NETWORK 1 Deprecated in v10.
  LHMON_LOG_SIZE 1 Deprecated in v10.0.
WINSTAP_ORA_DRIVER_INSTALLED ORA_DRIVER_INSTALLED 1 Set to 1 for sniffing Oracle ASO and SSL traffic. Valid values:
  • 0: no
  • 1: yes
  ORA_DRIVER_LEVEL 0 Advanced. Used for thread prioritization.
WINSTAP_NAMED_PIPES_DRIVER_INSTALLED NAMED_PIPES_DRIVER_INSTALLED 0 Set to 1 for local named pipes sniffing. Valid values:
  • 0: no
  • 1: yes
WINSTAP_NAMED_PIPES_DRIVER_LEVEL NAMED_PIPES_DRIVER_LEVEL 0 Advanced. Used for thread prioritization. Valid values:
  • 0: no
  • 1: yes
  SHARED_MEMORY_DRIVER_INSTALLED 0 Deprecated in v10.0.
  SHARED_MEMORY_DRIVER_LEVEL 0 Advanced. Used for thread prioritization. Valid values:

  KRB_MSSQL_DRIVER_INSTALLED 2

Deprecated from v10.1.4. It appears in the guard_tap.ini file but it does not affect the configuration.
  KRB_MSSQL_DRIVER_LEVEL 0 Deprecated from v10.1.4. It appears in the guard_tap.ini file but it does not affect the configuration.
  KRB_MSSQL_DRIVER_NONBLOCKING 0 Deprecated from v10.1.4. It appears in the guard_tap.ini file but it does not affect the configuration.
  KRB_MSSQL_DRIVER_USER_COLLECT_TIME 30 Deprecated from v10.1.4. Use the Correlation driver introduced in 10.1.
WINSTAP_DB2_SSL_DRIVER_INSTALLED DB2_SSL_DRIVER_INSTALLED 0 S-TAP uses a Db2® SSL driver. Valid values:
  • 0: no
  • 1: yes
