The extended highlighting adjunct can be used by the application program to override any extended highlighting attribute defined for a field in the map. Extended highlighting is available only on specific devices, and can be used in addition to the intensification control of the base attribute. It lets you specify whether a field should blink, be underscored, or be displayed in reverse video. Possible settings in the attribute adjunct value byte are as shown in Table 42 in topic 16.1.5. |
