Function: To create a chart.

Parameters

chart-id (specified by user) (fullword integer)
Gives the unique identification number of the chart to be created. It must be greater than 0.

level (specified by user) (fullword integer)
This must be set to 1.

Description

Creates a new chart initialized with default format information and null data for a new chart instance.

The defaults that you get are shown with the CSCHA, CSFLT, CSINT, and CSNUM calls. Where a default is device-dependent, the default that you get will be the one for the primary device at the time you make the CSCCRT call. If there is no primary device, a 3179-PC/G is assumed.

To obtain the same results with CSCCRT as with the CSSICU call or when using the ICU interactively, a DSOPEN call must first be issued.
