This topic contains the definitive description of the GDDM-PGF call
interface. The CHART call is superseded by the calls starting with the
letters "CS," and the control block parameter is subject to change from
release to release or as a result of maintenance. The "principal errors"
lists are neither exhaustive nor guaranteed. Although part of the
interface, the messages and their texts are subject to change from release
to release or as a result of maintenance.
The section "PL/I declarations" on page 36 lists the sets of PL/I DECLARE
statements that support the call interface to GDDM-PGF. These files are
subject to change and rearrangement as they are dependent on interfaces
with other IBM products.
This topic contains the syntax of all PG routine calls (CHxxxx calls), the
CHART call, the CSxxxx calls, and the call to the Vector Symbol Editor, in
alphabetic order. The alphabetic listing is preceded by information about
invocation and syntax.
Note: In the alphabetic listing, the CHART call should come between
CHAREA and CHBAR. But as its logical place is with the CSxxxx calls, you
will find it immediately before CSCCRT.
