The print and plot commands of OPS are:
- PRINT
- Create ADMPRINT for queued printers and plotters
- PLOT
- Plot on directly connected plotter
- PSEG
- Create page segment
The connection between the OPS commands and external programs and devices
is illustrated in Figure 65.
The figure uses a convention to show connections, as follows:
- The filled arrows indicate a direct connection between OPS commands,
print or plot files, and devices. These connections are fully
explained in this chapter.
- The hollow arrows indicate that OPS acts only as an indirect agent.
This applies to GL plot files and PostScript print files. These
connections are introduced here; for more information, see the
referenced GDDM books.
