Device considerations for interactive-graphics functions GDDM V3R2 Base Application Programming Guide SC33-0867-01 |
|
Programming for logical input devices: If you invoke any but the most basic interactive graphics functions, your program becomes specific to a limited number of devices. Most devices support programs that specify the alphanumeric cursor, the graphics cursor, the ENTER key, the function keys, or the mouse keys as logical input devices. But in order to exploit the higher level interactive-graphics functions properly, your application must become specific to a relatively small group of devices. The FSQURY call can determine which interactive-graphics functions are supported by a device. You can find information on the devices that support high level function in the GDDM Base Application Programming Reference book. |
