Deleting access key for an IAM user
Delete an access key for an IAM user.
Before you begin
- Administrators: Administrator access to IBM Fusion Data Foundation.
- Developers: Logged in to the object browser using secret namespace and secret name. For more information see Accessing the object browser.
- Ensure that the selected storage endpoint (MCG or RGW) is deployed and its pods are healthy.
- An existing IAM user with at least one access key.
Procedure
- In the OpenShift Web Console, navigate to .
- From the Storage endpoint selector, choose MCG or RGW.
- Click the IAM tab.
- Select the IAM user for whom you want to delete the access key.
- On the user details page, click the Access keys tab.
The list of access key cards are displayed.
- Locate the access key you want to delete and open the Action menu on its card.
- Select Delete access key.
- You must deactivate the access key before deleting it. Click Deactivate.
- To confirm deletion, type delete in the confirmation field.
- Click Delete to permanently remove the access key.
