Activating or deactivating access key

You can generate one additional access key.

Before you begin

  • Administrators: Administrator access to IBM Fusion Data Foundation.
  • Developers: Logged in to the object browser using secret namespace and secret name. For more information see Accessing the object browser.
  • Ensure that the selected storage endpoint (MCG or RGW) is deployed and its pods are healthy.
Note: Object Bucket Claim (OBC) based accounts do not have permissions to manage IAM users.

Procedure

  1. In the OpenShift Web Console, navigate to Storage > Object Storage.
  2. From the Storage endpoint selector, choose MCG or RGW.
  3. Click the IAM tab.
  4. Select the IAM user for whom you want to activate or deactivate access keys.
  5. On the user details page, click the Access keys tab.
    The existing access key cards are displayed.
  6. Select the Actions menu corresponding to the required Access key and select Activate/Deactivate Access key.
  7. Click Activate or Deactivate depending on the existing status.
