Upgrading OpenShift Container Platform on Hosted Control Plane

To upgrade the OpenShift® Container Platform version for Hosted Control Plane clusters, see the Updating a control plane in a hosted cluster in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform documentation.

Note: For offline Hosted Control Plane clusters:

If you are upgrading OpenShift Container Platform in an offline Hosted Control Plane cluster, first mirror the images of the desired OpenShift Container Platform version that you want to upgrade to.
In addition to the steps provided in the Red Hat documentation, make sure to update the release-image field in the NodePool custom resource (CR) to point to the mirrored OpenShift Container Platform release image.
