Editing lifecycle rules by using the object browser

Edit existing lifecycle rules using the object browser in the OpenShift Web Console.

Before you begin

  • Administrators: Administrator access to Fusion Data Foundation.
  • Developers: Logged in to the object browser using secret namespace and secret name. For more information see Accessing the object browser.
  • Ensure that the selected storage endpoint (MCG or RGW) is deployed and its pods are healthy.

Procedure

  1. In the OpenShift Web Console, navigate to Storage > Object Storage.
  2. From the Storage endpoint selector, choose MCG or RGW, then open the bucket.
  3. In the bucket view, click the Management tab.
  4. Locate the rule, then from the Action menu select Edit lifecycle rule.
  5. Edit the required fields.
  6. Click Save.
