Minimum deployment resource requirements

An Fusion Data Foundation cluster will be deployed with minimum configuration when the standard deployment resource requirement is not met.

Important considerations for minimum deployment

  • For production clusters, deploying Fusion Data Foundation with more than three devices is strongly recommended to improve data resiliency.
  • DR installation should not use the minimal deployment configuration, as it can result in installation failure.
  • The minimum deployment requirements relate to Fusion Data Foundation services only, and not to any other services, operators or workloads that are running on these nodes.
