- What is the difference between Fusion Data Foundation and Red Hat® OpenShift Data Foundation?
- Fusion Data Foundation and Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation provide similar functionality for provisioning container-native storage in an OpenShift cluster. IBM allows Red Hat to resell support for ODF through a subscription model, with some minor differences in capability. For example, Provider mode is not available in ODF. Red Hat offers ODF in two editions: ODF Essentials and ODF Advanced, with ODF Advanced including Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities.
