Planning and prerequisites for your virtualized clusters

The prerequisites before you create Virtualization clusters.

From the Red Hat® Operator Catalog, deploy Red Hat OpenShift® Virtualization. Use the latest version available in your Red Hat operator catalog as the version is driven by underlying the OpenShift Container Platform version. For more information about the supported versions, see Interoperability matrix.
It is a software component of OpenShift Container Platform to run and manage virtual machine workloads alongside container workloads. To validate the installation, see Red Hat Documentation.

Create hyperconverged CR based on the following example:

Wait for five to ten minutes for the CR status to be available and the OpenShift Container Platform console to refresh and show up a new Virtualization menu.
