Verifying that the specific storage classes exist

Confirm that necessary storage classes are available in the Fusion Data Foundation cluster to support workloads and maintain consistent storage operations.

Procedure

  1. In the Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform web console, go to Storage > Storage Classes.
  2. Verify that the following storage classes are created with the Fusion Data Foundation cluster creation:
    • ocs-storagecluster-ceph-rbd
    • ocs-storagecluster-ceph-rgw
    • ocs-storagecluster-cephfs
    • openshift-storage.noobaa.io
    Note:
    • If an MDS is not deployed in the external cluster, the ocs-external-storagecluster-cephfs storage class is not created.
    • If an RGW is not deployed in the external cluster, the ocs-external-storagecluster-ceph-rgw storage class is not created.
