AI-enabled capabilities

IBM Fusion Data Cataloging is expanding its AI-driven data management capabilities with two significant innovations. The new IBM Data Cataloging Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables multiple large language models (LLMs) to connect to and operate across a unified set of cataloging tools.

Complementing this, IBM Fusion Data Cataloging is introducing a technology preview of Content-based AI-enabled autotagging, which allows users to selectively analyze data and automatically generate tags based on document content.

Together, these capabilities enhance governance, automation, and intelligent discovery across enterprise data ecosystems.
