Installing IBM Fusion HCI System in a disaster recovery setup
Use the sequence mentioned in this procedure to install IBM Fusion HCI System with Metro-DR setup.
Before you begin
- For general Metro-DR prerequisites, see General Metro-DR prerequisites.
- For tiebreaker prerequisites, see Preparing the tiebreaker.
About this task
During the installation planning, you can enable disaster recovery for your rack in either of
these methods:
- You have already set up your first rack as Site 1. During the installation of Site 2, connect it to Site 1 in a Metro-DR relationship.
- You already got a standalone rack set up but not designated it as Site 1. During the installation of Site 2, utilize the connection snippet of Site 1 to establish a Metro-DR relationship between the two racks.
