Installing IBM Fusion HCI System in a disaster recovery setup

Use the sequence mentioned in this procedure to install IBM Fusion HCI System with Metro-DR setup.

Before you begin

Important: Contact IBM support before you begin the installation of Metro-DR deployment.

About this task

During the installation planning, you can enable disaster recovery for your rack in either of these methods:
  • You have already set up your first rack as Site 1. During the installation of Site 2, connect it to Site 1 in a Metro-DR relationship.
  • You already got a standalone rack set up but not designated it as Site 1. During the installation of Site 2, utilize the connection snippet of Site 1 to establish a Metro-DR relationship between the two racks.

Procedure

For the procedure to install, see the single rack installation procedure in Installing IBM Fusion HCI System.
  2. Install site 2.
