Failed to delete IBM Storage Scale webhook configuration.

Problem description

It indicates that the IBM Storage Scale webhook configuration is failed to delete. Delete the existing webhook configuration ibm-spectrum-scale-mutating-webhook-configuration or ibm-spectrum-scale-validating-webhook-configuration so that it creates a webhook configuration when a new manifest is applied.

Recommended actions

Do the following steps to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the logs of the isf-storage-operator pod within the isf-spectrum-fusion-ns namespace to identify the issues and take an appropriate action to resolve them.
  2. Check the logs of the ibm-spectrum-scale-controller-manager pod within the ibm-spectrum-scale-operator namespace to identify the issues and take an appropriate action to resolve them.
  3. Check the logs of the isf-storage-operator pod in the isf-spectrum-fusion-ns namespace for any errors and take an appropriate action to resolve them.

    The upgrade operation resumes automatically after the issue is resolved.

  4. If the issue persists for a long time, then collect the Global Data Platform logs and contact IBM support .
