  • <switch-name:switch IBM Serial Number>: Fan3 Tray 2 Not OK
  • <switch-name:switch IBM Serial Number>: Fan4 Tray 2 Not OK
  • <switch-name:switch IBM Serial Number>: Fan5 Tray 3 Not OK
  • <switch-name:switch IBM Serial Number>: Fan6 Tray 3 Not OK
  • <switch-name:switch IBM Serial Number>: Fan7 Tray 4 Not OK
  • <switch-name:switch IBM Serial Number>: Fan8 Tray 4 Not OK
  • <switch-name:switch IBM Serial Number>: PSU1 Fan1 Not OK

Do the following steps to diagnose and report the problem:

  1. Inspect power connection from PSU to fan tray (1~4), for disconnections or loose connections.
  2. If the connection is fine, collect the Network switches logs and contact IBM support .
