Error conditions
The error message can be for the following conditions:
- Unable to change first time password
- Configuring IPv6 address failed with output
- IMM's new IPv6 address configured is not reachable - Onecli config set failed with output (Boot order and System Boot Mode)
- Onecli failed to clear SysInfoProdIdentifier for SR645 with output
- Onecli failed to set Processors.PreferredIOBus=Preferred
- Onecli failed to set Processors.PreferredIOBusNumber
- Configuring ports failed with output
- Configuring alertentries failed with output
- Configuring power restoration policy failed
- Configuring snmp failed
- Configuring snmpAlerts failed with output
- Configuring password complexity failed with output
- Adding user %s failed with output
- Clearing existing raid config failed for controller
- Unable to config drv mkgood for node
- Unable to config drive mkgood for node
- Error clearing mvstor for node
- Configuring disks in raid mode failed with output
- Configuring disks in raid mode failed with output
- Enabling IPMI over VLAN failed with output
- Onecli config set failed with output (Settling Network Link Type to Ethernet)
- Failed to set Mellanox Network Adapter NetworkLinkType to Ethernet
Note: All of the error conditions have built-in retries. However, there shall be support tickets to
check the appliance if the event persists for a longer duration. If the condition is transient, it
recovers automatically. Otherwise, IBM Support checks the appliance.

Do the following steps to diagnose the error:
- If you have enabled Call Home feature, then the system automatically collects compute collection set logs and raises a Call Home ticket.
- If you have not enabled Call Home feature, collect the Nodes logs and contact IBM support .
