IBM Cloud Satellite for IBM Storage Fusion HCI System

The IBM Cloud® Satellite deploys and runs apps consistently across on-premises, edge computing and public cloud environments from any cloud vendor. Use the steps to deploy IBM Cloud Satellite on to the virtual machines of IBM Storage Fusion.

Attention:

If an IBM Storage Fusion environment is set up behind a proxy and if no subnet is available with direct internet to access IBM Cloud Host, IBM Cloud Satellite configuration is not possible.
IBM Cloud Satellite is supported only on the IBM Storage Fusion HCI System with Global Data Platform service on a standalone rack.
Make sure that you update the network type of your IBM Cloud Satellite setup after you upgrade the IBM Storage Fusion HCI System. For the procedure to update the network type, contact IBM support.
