Upgrading OpenShift Container Platform on Hosted Control Plane

Upgrade the OpenShift Container Platform version for Hosted Control Planes (HCP) clusters by following the Red Hat documentation and updating the NodePool custom resource to point to the mirrored release image for offline environments.

Note: For offline Hosted Control Plane clusters:

If you are upgrading OpenShift Container Platform in an offline Hosted Control Plane cluster, first mirror the images for the target OpenShift Container Platform version. For more information, see Mirroring OpenShift Container Platform release images to enterprise registry.
In addition to the steps provided in the Red Hat documentation, make sure to update the release-image field in the NodePool custom resource (CR) to point to the mirrored OpenShift Container Platform release image.
