Listing object versions using the object browser

View object versions using the object browser in the OpenShift Web Console.

Before you begin

• Administrators: Administrator access to Fusion Data Foundation.
• Developers: Logged in to the object browser using secret namespace and secret name. For more information see Accessing the object browser.
• Ensure that the selected storage endpoint (MCG or RGW) is deployed and its pods are healthy.

1. In the OpenShift Web Console, navigate to Storage > Object Storage.
2. From the Storage endpoint selector, choose MCG or RGW, then open the bucket.
3. Click the Objects tab.
4. Toggle List of versions.

   • When List all versions is OFF:

     • The current version of the object excluding the delete markers is displayed.
     • Any Action menu options apply to the current version.

     • To view all versions of one object:

       • Click object and open the Versions tab from the sidebar.

   • When List all versions is ON:

     • All object versions appear including deleted objects that have delete markers.
     • Deleting a version is permanent.
     • Removing a delete marker restores the most recent version. If no previous version exists, the object is permanently deleted.
