As part of your network configuration, you can add links based on the VLANs that you
defined in the VLANs section.
About this task
If you are using a multi-rack setup, you must manage your Alternative network configuration
and the links. The Add link page is not available for you. Important: Ensure that you add links in a sequential order, and do not add multiple links at a
time.
Procedure
- Click

The Network page is displayed.
- Click Links tab to open it.
- Click Create link.
The Add link
slide out pane gets displayed.

Provide the link details.

- Link name
- Specify a name in Link name to uniquely identify a link.

- Port
- Select one of the available options from the Port list. The port
selection is made on both switches. You can select more than one port.

- Port type
- Select Access or Trunk from the Port
Type list. The Access port provides access to a single VLAN
only.
Important: Always choose Trunk as port type. Select
Access only when the uplink switch is not VLAN aware.

- Transceiver
- Select one of the available options from the Transceiver list. The
transceiver defines the speed and wire type to be used for the link.

- Aggregation
- Select one of the available options from the Aggregation list.

- VLANs
- Select one or more VLANs from the VLANs list. You can assign multiple
VLANs from this multi-select label list. The Default Native list is populated
with the selected VLANs. The Internal Storage VLAN option is available to
externalize local storage.

- Native VLAN
- Select native VLAN whenever the port type is Trunk.
- Click Save to apply your changes and to add the
link.

Links table of the
