Adding VLANs

As part of your network configuration, you can add one or more VLANs.

Before you begin

Note:
  • You can create VLAN only of type Custom VLAN, Native VLAN, and Virtualization VLAN.
  • Virtualization VLAN addition is supported on all new IBM Fusion HCI installations with version 2.10 or later.
  • If you need to create a Virtualization VLAN on a IBM Fusion HCI cluster that is already upgraded to version 2.10, then you must first run a migration script. To run the migration script, reach out to IBM support .

Procedure

    The Network page gets displayed.
  2. Click VLANs tab.
The VLANs tab page gets displayed. It lists all VLANs in a table format with Name, Type, VLAN ID, Allow multiple VLAN link, and VLAN status columns. Use the settings icon to customize the column headers.
