Enhancements in 4.18

Each release offers new functionalities and improvements. Read this information for a high-level summary of major enhancements introduced in the Fusion Data Foundation 4.18 release.

Alert for storage quota utilization in provider mode

Whenever the storage consumption of an Fusion Data Foundation client exceeds 80% of its quota limit, the StorageQuotaUtilizationThresholdReached alert appears to notify that the storage quota utilization has reached its threshold value.

CephCSI pod log rotation

Log rotation of CephCSI pods is enabled with csi-operator so the client operator can use it.

Capacity alert thresholds increased

The thresholds of the PersistentVolumeUsageCritical and PersistentVolumeUsageNearFull alerts are increased so that they are triggered only when the space is limited.

Previously, these PersistentVolumeUsageCritical and PersistentVolumeUsageNearFull alerts that were triggered even when there was still plenty of space available caused unnecessary worry about the state of the cluster.
