Quorum nodes cannot communicate with each other that is causing GPFS daemon process to lose quorum.

Sometimes, quorum nodes cannot be reached in the site, so check the connectivity to quorum nodes. Note that some scale pods can also be designated as quorum nodes.

  1. In OpenShift® Container Platform, check whether the pods are running for the quorum nodes:
    oc get nodes
  2. If they are running, check the health and network connectivity between nodes: 
    mmheath node show

  3. Try to ping or run mmnetverfiy to check the network.

  4. If the issue still persists, collect storage logs and contact IBM support.
