Failed to delete IBM Storage Scale role binding configuration.

Problem description

It indicates that the IBM Storage Scale role binding configuration is failed to delete. Delete the existing role binding configuration ibm-spectrum-scale-privileged so that it creates a new role binding configuration when a new manifest is applied.

Recommended actions

Do the following steps to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the logs of the isf-storage-operator pod within the isf-spectrum-fusion-ns namespace to identify the issues and take an appropriate action to resolve them.
  2. Check the logs of the ibm-spectrum-scale-controller-manager pod within the ibm-spectrum-scale-operator namespace to identify the issues and take an appropriate action to resolve them.
  3. Check the logs of the isf-storage-operator pod in the isf-spectrum-fusion-ns namespace for any errors and take an appropriate action to resolve them.

    The upgrade operation resumes automatically after the issue is resolved.

  4. If the issue persists for a long time, then collect the Global Data Platform logs and contact IBM support .
